Numerous flowers grow on each tall, erect stem. These showy beauties are perfect when planted in clusters in borders and beds and can last up to two weeks as cut flowers. Plant in round or oval-shapes in beds and borders.

• For cut-flower arrangements, cut when buds are just about to open and have some color at the tips
• Before placing in vases, remove leaves from below the water line
• Cut only 1/3 of the stem along with the flower, leaving the majority of the stem in place to provide the nutrients the bulb needs to bloom the next year
• To prevent possible staining from pollen, clip stamens before placing flowers in vases
• Prefer full sun

• Perennial in zones 3-8, dig bulbs and store indoors in colder areas
